Matheus Idalino, arrived at the Malacacheta Social Project as a boy, at 12 years old, more or less. His motivation for joining the project was not Judo, but Karate. That's right, Karate! He wanted to win the Judogi, because he practiced Karate, but he didn't have a gi.

"I feel myself unraveling the law of gravity, because I am growing as a person, while the natural thing in communities is to keep on falling. Through the project, I received a scholarship at Colégio Elite, it was very difficult, because I always studied in municipal schools, but I managed to finish high school and lived intensely the best years of my life.
I often heard from family members the question: judo for what? This will get you nowhere!
Today, in addition to being the first of my family to go to college, I am one of the first among my friends to work with a formal contract and the best, with what I love to do most, to teach. And I, who until yesterday just ran to catch a bus, found myself running so as not to miss the plane.
Judo changed my life completely.!
Matheus joined the Malacacheta Judo project at the age of 12 because he wanted to win the Judogi to train Karate. Today, he is one of the multipliers of the methodology, one of our greatest pride. Our Matheus Sensei
