""I never did judo in my life, but the Nagai Association showed me that this sport teaches you a lot more than skilled strokes. With English it is the same thing: more than teaching vocabularies, dealing with a foreign language can arouse curiosity for the unknown and open doors to new worlds. This is what I experienced, too! Here in Rio, I work as a journalist for a broadcaster from Germany, where I was born. It was through my work that I met the Association in 2019. I never forgot the project and returned six months later - as a volunteer English teacher. When I began, I imagined that doing this work would be a rich experience, but it is even cooler than I imagined. 😊"
